Create Your WIN Plan Strategy For 2018

As we move from 2017 into 2018 we all in some way or another either wrote down, or verbally stated a “New Year’s Resolution.” Anytime that we look at personal growth and development it is a great thing. There is no better time or opportunity to start than right now, as we transition from moving to a higher and more productive level in our lives.

I believe that everything in our lives start with a positive thought, and idea that we can accomplish whatever we set in our hearts and minds to do. It is very important that our mindset, and our belief is that “WE CAN” physically and mentally carry out the objective that we have set before us.

With that, we get a pen and a sheet of paper, and begin to write down what we set to accomplish. Why is it important for us to write down what we endeavor to accomplish? What does writing down our plan, goals, and strategy do for us? Writing it down helps us clarify what we really want, helps us determine if there are changes that need to be made and we can adjust the plan, it helps us not forget what we want, the ability to refer back to it helps track our progress, and most of all writing it down gives us something to work towards.

We are ready to start our “WIN Plan Strategy For 2018.”  Below are a few points that I would like for you to consider when starting your WIN Plan Strategy For 2018.

  1. Establish your vision and mission statement for the future:
What do you want to accomplish? Where do you want to be in life? If you could develop a vision or mission statement for yourself and life what would it say? Seek to develop a vision and mission statement.
  2. Define your core values:
What are your core values, morals, ethics and principles? How are these values connected to your vision and mission statement?
  3. List what you seek to accomplish:
How does your vision, mission, and values align with what you want to accomplish in life?
  4. Develop Smart Goals:
These goals should be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound. The importance of the Smart Goals is to keep a track of our goals, and how well we are working on and toward them.
  5. Get an Accountability Partner:
An “Accountability Partner” is someone that you can trust, be open and honest with.  Your partner will help keep you on track with your vision, mission, values, and Smart Goals. They will play a key role in helping you move forward toward pursuing your life long goals.
